What Can Be Gained By a Reiki Initiation?
Learning Reiki is a good starting point for experiencing and working with healing energy and a wonderful method for deepening awareness of universal energy. The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words – Rei, which means “God’s Wisdom or the Higher Power” and Ki, which is “life force energy. Reiki compliments many other healing modalities and spiritual practices. Most people find that beginning Reiki opens them up spiritually even if they never do a Reiki session on anyone else but themselves. It deepens meditation, helps one to relax and sleep more soundly. It can actually enhance everything in ones life. There's a saying, "Hands on, Reiki on". This simply means that once you've been attuned, Reiki flows through you in whatever you do. That's not to say that everything in your life will be perfect, it won't. Life isn't meant to be that way. We have lessons to learn here. But Reiki will be there when you prepare foods, hold your children, do gardening or pet you animals. You will also be able to do formal Reiki treatments with family, friends or paying customers. During a formal Reiki treatment the energy will be much stronger, enabling you to focus Reiki energy for specific needs .
Level 1
This training is in traditional Usui Reiki. In the Level 1 class you will be taught the basics of Reiki healing including the hand positions to practice on self and others. You will receive handouts, attunement and certificate.
Level 2
This training is in traditional Usui Reiki. The class includes introduction and instruction on the Reiki symbols. You will learn the basics of distant healing as well as several ways to do distance healing including using a Reiki circle. The Level 2 class is open to anyone who has previously completed Level 1. It is ok if you completed your Reiki 1 through another instructor. Please bring your certificate will you to the class.
Level 3 / Reiki Master
The Level 3 class in Traditional Usui Reiki and is the Reiki Master/Teacher level. At this class you will learn how to pass attunements to others and the basics for teaching Reiki to others. At the end of the day you will leave with your certificate. The Level 3 class is open to anyone who has previously completed Level 1 and Level 2. If you took your first two levels with another teacher, bring a copy of your Level 2 certificate to class.
